Slowdown in MSP Approvals of Regulated Firearms?

Up until my last purchase, I was getting "not disapproved" or whatever the language is from the MSP on my handgun purchases in four to five days, and that included weekend days.



So, my FFL faxed in the paperwork last week on a Thursday and it is Thursday again and no word yet. :sad20:



Were my four to five day approvals a fluke?



What is the average time these days?



And don't weekend days count?



And I've forgotten...how many days from the "fax in" does an FFL have to wait to just hand the handgun over?



Finally, how does the MSP inform the FFL that I'm "good to go"? Phone call, FAX, what?
