I was at the range today and was firing reloads in my .45 ACP 1911 and the first round I got a pop and fizz then smoke from the area near my slide release lever. After about 15 min waiting I made a closer examination. I found that there is a round jammed in the barrel. What do I do? Should I try to remove it myself or take it to a gunsmith?
