Very excited to pickup my new AK pistol from Duffy's this afternoon, so I stopped by the house on the way to grab my range bag and couple mags. The guys at the shop were friendly and helpful as always, and after getting the comically large box into my truck I was off to the range.
I put a total of 60 rounds down range. For the first 10-20 shots were hitting about a foot or two to the left of the target. Wasn't sure if the sights were that far off or if it was me. But after a couple "post last round in the mag" dry fires I realized how much I was pushing the gun while anticipating the recoil. After calming myself down and focussing on what I was doing, I started hitting the paper consistently. Snapped a pic of last target..
I should be able to improve with some practice. Definitely need to put a sling on it and some type of optic.
