Hello all,
So here is my situation. I own approximately 40% of a business. We deal in sometimes large amounts of cash as well as sell alcohol to consume on the premises. I also do cash deposits in excess of $1000 very frequently. Questions:
1. Can I carry inside the business and parking lot? I realize the answer is a "yes" if I own 100% of the business, but wasn't sure if there were any changes to that if I own less than half. Do I need permission from a 50% majority, a 100% majority, or am I good to go since I AM an owner?
2. For those that have gone through the CCW process for business owners, would this seem to be acceptable to the MSP? I realize it is subjective as it is "may-issue," but I'm hoping I don't get the training and go through the process for them to tell me that I'm a co-owner instead of a full owner so I'm screwed. I'm 99% sure as long as I'm listed on the articles of incorporation as a substantial owner and I'm doing cash deposits I'm probably okay, but figured I'd pose the question just in case.
Thanks all.
