Shooting is obviously an inherently dangerous activity. Although ranges, clubs, and in our case, CMCT instructors take strenuous measures to ensure safety- there is always the possibility of injury in the range setting.
CMCT instructors are all Combat Lifesaver Certified with 2 medics on staff. (you can identify them wearing MED patches on the range.) We always have ATLEAST 2 medical kits on the range, and often additional aid bags from the medics or form other students.
For high risk courses (be it curriculum or weather risk) we often bring out a PA to observe training. Medical support is one of our core training process concepts.
