My buddy was shooting my Mosin 91/30 yesterday and had a squib with one of my reloads. The primer went off and pushed the bullet about 6" up the barrel.
I have explained my loading process in a recent thread so I was positive I didn't miss a charge. We drove the bullet out of the barrel, then I checked the case and the damn thing had powder in it.
The load was 44 grains of Vit. N135, CCI 200 primer, a surplus Russian 150 grain bullet and a brand new Privi 7.62x54R case. There was a flash hole in the case.
I'm kind of baffled, in 28 years of reloading I've never had this happen before.
